Colourfast test: Add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of Jik Bleach to half a cup (125 ml) of water and apply to a hidden part of the garment (check all colours and trims). Leave for 1 minute, then rinse. If the colour does not change then it is colourfast.

Or

Apply one drop of Jik Multi Action to hand wash solution to hidden part of the seam.

Rinse after 5 minutes and dry. If the colour does not change, then it is colourfast.

Whitening and brightening: Mix ¼ cup (62.5 ml) of Jik Bleach in a bucket of water (10 litres). Soak whites and colourfast items for 10-15 minutes. Rinse and then wash with detergent as usual.

Or

Add 1/4 cup (62.5 ml) Jik Multi Action to 5 L water, soak garments for 15-30 minutes, then rinse. Wash as usual with regular detergent.

MACHINE USE: SELECT A SHORT (OR PRE-WASH) CYCLE.

Top Loaders and Twin Tub Machines: Add ½ cup (125 ml) of Jik Multi Action to water. Add laundry and allow cycle to finish. Select desired wash cycle and wash with detergent as usual or add 1/2 cup (125 ml) of Jik Multi Action to water. Add laundry and allow cycle to finish. Select desired wash cycle and wash with detergent as usual.

Front Loaders: Load laundry and start cycle. Add ½ cup (125 ml) of Jik Multi Action to detergent dispenser while water is running to the machine. Allow cycle to finish. Select desired wash cycle and wash with detergent as usual.

FABRIC DISINFECTION

Germ Kill: Add ¼ cup (62.5 ml) of Jik Bleach to 5 L of water. Soak laundry for 5 – 15 minutes. Rinse and then wash with detergent as usual.
